Yesterday I attended the Annual General Meeting of Rolls-Royce Plc - held at 11.00 in Nottingham (at a conference centre on the University Park). This was certainly a good venue in some respects, and I was brought up just nearby in Chilwell so could stay with my brother overnight who still lives there. But other investors may have found it less convenient of course apart from some ex Rolls-Royce employees of which I suspect there were quite a number present. I did discuss the choice with the Chairman after the meeting and we agreed that perhaps an alternation between London and the Midlands would make sense in future.
