Churchill China is an AIM quoted company, listed first in 1995 with a turnover in 2014-2015 of £44½ million and a share price of 575 pence, up 42% from 395 pence in January 2014. All significant figures up over one year and five years. P/E ratio is 19, and a dividend of 16.1 pence yields 2.8%. TSR this year is nearly 50%. It is a successful AIM company and a strong British manufacturer. It might suit people planning to minimise inheritance tax. Based in Stoke on Trent, it manufactures ceramic tableware, i.e. plates and cups, primarily for the catering industry, where there are much higher requirements of strength and robustness, and heat retention, than in domestic ware.
