I drove to the GB Group AGM in Chester but fortunately they set the time at 1.00 pm even though their post code of CH4 9GB led my Satnav to their old offices about a mile away (they have a customised post code you will notice). The heavy traffic on the roads and the numerous accidents (on the M25, A14 and M1, all of which I had to divert around) tells you a lot about the state of the economy. In essence it is booming. One fact you may not be aware of is that accidents rise, even more than in proportion to traffic volumes, when the economy is buoyant. People seem to be willing to take more risks in such periods.
