On the 27th August I attended the Annual General Meetings of the four Oxford Technology VCTs in Oxford. These are held in a rather unusual way with all four meetings being effectively combined except for the formal business and with David Livesley chairing much of the event, but with the individual company chairmen responding on specific points. I have referred to the "Chairman" below at the time rather than naming individuals. The companies do of course have a lot of common shareholders and a number of common investments. Because of the problems at OTT and OXT (VCTs 1 and 3) that arose when HMRC withdrew their VCT status, the meeting was well attended with about 80 shareholders present.
