RDL is my largest equity holding, hence attending the AGM on 24th May was important to me. It is a specialist UK registered and listed investment trust that is managed from Texas, investing primarily in loans made on "alternative lending platforms", mainly to US SME borrowers. I had a number of questions that I wished to clarify with the company. The AGM was held in the afternoon, at the offices of RDL's legal advisers, Travers Smith. Only two other shareholders were present, and a representative of Travers Smith.
