Last week (18/4/2018) I attended the Annual General Meeting of RTC Plc (RTC) in the very splendid offices of Gowling WLP at 4 More London Riverside with wonderful views of the Tower of London. Here’s a brief report on the event. There were about a dozen ordinary shareholders present, three directors (the only NED, Mr May, was ill and unable to attend) and the auditor who arrived late. RTC is a tiny £8m market cap company. Although it has a turnover of £70 million, this is a low margin business of providing contracting staff with a modest mark-up. RTC has a good business performance record in recent years but the share price performance has been variable: it peaked at 150p in 2005 and had a low of 5p in 2011,
